The traditional Pelli Kuturu ceremony, which was held today, on 4th December at Annapurna Studios, and we are here with all her amazing wedding looks decoded that is amazing inspiration for all anticipating brides!

An Ethereal Engagement Look- The Perfectly Peachy Saree with Loads of Traditional Charm

This heart wrenching ceremony which took place in Hyderabad, back in August, was when the engagement took place between the two artists. Sobhita donned a traditional Uppada Silk Saree is a beautiful blush golden color representing the Kanakambaram, a traditional temple flower commonly adorned by Telugu women in their hair. The outfit is a half saree drape, which is normally worn by young maiden girls in South India. The outfit is an ode to Sobhita’s maidenhood, in the perfect girly color and is an amazing inspiration for all the brides who want to remain traditional in a pastel wedding saree but still keep their individuality in their wedding outfits.

The Rata Haldi Ceremony- An Immensely Nostalgic Ode

Sobhita sported a traditional South Indian saree in a mustard yellow shade owing to the aesthetic of the festivities. Her Mangalasnaanam ceremony was very minimal and once again traditional with simple arrangements and family around her. She also wore her mother and grandmother’s gold jewellery to accessorise, making it a sentimental addition to her haldi outfit. Sobhits’s yellow haldi saree was a simple creation and she looked so mirthful in all the pictures- from grinding the turmeric to the shower of flowers on her that we couldn’t help but long for similar ceremonies in the years to come.
